FAQ

If I receive a Big Sky ATM, how much revenue can I expect?
Cash flow from and ATM can vary depending upon foot traffic. You will receive either all or a portion of every transaction where a surcharge is applied to a customer using the ATM.

What is the surcharge?
A surcharge is the fee that customers pay for using your ATM. The surcharge fee on average is about $2.00 - $2.50. It is the right of the ATM owner to set whatever fees they deem appropriate for each location.

When do I receive funds?
Funds are deposited into your account the next business day.

What do I do in the event that someone trying to withdraw their money doesn't receive the correct amount?
This happens rarely. If there is a discrepancy on funds the customer receives there are set procedures to verify the transaction, and the owner of the card can file a dispute with their card provider. The ATM location will never refund the customer directly. Careful measures and guidelines protect all parties involved.

What do I do if my ATM is not working, or experiences failure or malfunction of some sort?
Call us immediately. If issues arise they usually are resolved with a quick phone call. If need be, we will send a technician on site to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem with minimum downtime.

What are my expenses?
Your upfront costs could be nothing. ATM costs depend upon the program that you choose. Whether our it’s our Free ATM Placement, 50/50 program, or you want to keep 100% of the surcharge, a Big Sky ATM representative is happy to go over the details of each program type, so that you know exactly what is entailed.

Are there any additional or miscellaneous fees on my bill?
No. You won’t get a bill. Our ATM processing is free
